The idea behind our veg box scheme is to produce a range of locally grown, chemical-free, vegetables that can be conveniently delivered to your door or collected from our Farm.
Deliveries will be made on Thursday of every week, but for customers who would prefer delivery every sceond week we can accommodate this too.
Basically, we would be only too delighted to make an arrangement that suits your veggie needs and we promise to listen and react to any feedback which comes our way.
To allow us enough time to get the veg boxes together, orders must be received by 12 noon on the Wednesday of each week. This includes new on-line orders. If you need to change or cancel your order, we would respectfully request 24 hours notice.
Delivery is free and we will also include inside every box a newsletter containing various recipes and latest news from the Farm.
The veg boxes will consists of items from our “in season” list which will be displayed on our website. We will do our utmost to ensure that boxes will always include the old reliables, such as Potatoes, Carrots, Parsnips, Mixed Salad etc.
Each customer will be assigned two boxes to be used for delivery on alternate weeks. The box in which you received your delivery one week ought to be left out for us to collect the following Thursday.
There are 3 sizes of veg boxes available:
- €10.00 (for 1 – 2 people)
- €15.00 (for 2 – 4 people)
- €20.00 (our Family Box, suitable for 3 – 5 people)
We usually operate on a “Cash on Delivery” basis. But we also take payments weekly or monthly in advance as this seems to suit a lot of customers.
Yes, without a doubt!
All our veg boxes offer great value for money. For example, our Family Box provides around €24 worth of vegetables if bought individually. Our €15 box contains around €19 worth of produce and our €10 box around €14 worth of veg.
Delivery is free, and remember, all our produce is fresh and locally grown. All in all, we believe our veg boxes offer great value at a time when everyone’s feeling the pinch.
